Music for our elders

Can we transform the daily lives of our elders through a shared experience of music? That is the ambition of the Music for our Elders project, launched by Insula orchestra and accentus during lockdown, which brings classical music directly into residential homes for older people. Since 2020, more than twenty establishments have already taken part.

Découvrir

Music & disability

For the past ten years, Insula orchestra’s musicians, joined by other artists (dancers, singers, actors and more), have been meeting children with disabilities.

Découvrir

Solidarity concerts

Since moving into La Seine Musicale, Insula orchestra has offered, in partnership with the Aurore association and the Refugee Welcome Unit of the Habitat et Humanisme movement, “solidarity concerts” for people housed in social-reintegration accommodation or emergency shelters for asylum seekers.

Découvrir

Chemin des arts

“Chemin des arts” is an arts-and-culture education scheme run by the Hauts-de-Seine department for secondary-school pupils and audiences from the social-solidarity sector. It gives them the opportunity to step — often for the first time — through the doors of the department’s cultural venues, to encounter the works presented there and to meet artists during awareness-raising and/or hands-on workshops.
