Louise Laveuve and Thy-Lane Monnet invite you to discover the young Fanny and Félix Mendelssohn. While Félix Mendelssohn’s renown in classical music is undisputed, his sister Fanny Mendelssohn has remained more in the shadows — the fault of the conventions of the time! Through their gentle drawings, all in shades of blue and orange, Louise Laveuve and Thy-Lane Monnet bring the characters to life and illustrate an era.
