Unfinished, the Great Mass in C minor is one of Mozart’s most famous works. It is the most impressive sacred work of the Austrian genius, alternating brilliant, surging choruses with agile, ethereal soprano arias, including the famous “Incarnatus est”. On stage to serve this masterpiece are accentus, Insula orchestra and Laurence Equilbey, whose performance is heightened by Pascale Ferran’s live filming during the June 2017 concert at La Seine Musicale.
