Film music – Behind the scenes of the album

💿🎬 Musiques de cinéma, our new album is out! ✨🎶 We take you behind the scenes of its creation.

The album’s soloists and Laurence Equilbey share in this film their perspective on these works that have become inseparable from cinema, and what it means to them to perform them on period instruments.

Baroque and classical masterpieces that left their mark on the big screen, from Barry Lyndon (Stanley Kubrick, 1975) to Out of Africa (Sydney Pollack, 1985), via The Social Network (David Fincher, 2010), Asteroid City (Wes Anderson, 2023) or Cuties (Maïmouna Doucouré, 2020).

With David Fray (piano), Justin Taylor (harpsichord), Julien Martineau (mandolin), Rossmery Rangel (mandolin), Pierre Génisson (clarinet), Carlo Vistoli (countertenor), Paul-Antoine Bénos-Djian (countertenor) and Insula orchestra, conducted by Laurence Equilbey.
