Five composers revisit a real-life incident that, in 2019, saw a rooster shake up the legal system. True story! His crime? Crowing early and disturbing the sleep of vacationers on the Île d’Oléron.
With the complicity of audio-naturalist Fernand Deroussen, Les Apaches pay tribute to Maurice the rooster and the sonic heritage of our countryside. Between the noise of modern life and pastoral calm, “Does it bother you?” offers a poetic reflection on living together through a musical VR piece.
