A listening journey

What if stones could sing ? Such is the case with lithophones, musical instruments dating back to prehistoric times and consisting in a collection of resonant stones. When struck with mallets, these stones produce a distinctive metallic sound! Ensemble TM+ draws inspiration from these stones to imagine a journey revolving around minerality, with a sound and visual installation by Justine Emard and a commissioned composition for instruments and electronics by Lara Morciano.
