Mozart displays his full genius in The Abduction from the Seraglio, a vibrant and colorful opera where love and freedom triumph. Laurence Equilbey reunites her two ensembles for a new staging at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, supported by a brilliant cast.

Step into a fantasy version of Turkey, where Mozart blends humor, vocal brilliance and lyricism! In this Singspiel, the composer plays with styles to make his characters shine: the fearless Konstanze (Jessica Pratt), the noble Belmonte (Amitai Pati) and the exuberant Osmin.

Stage director Florent Siaud, a rising figure in the opera world, masterfully navigates between theater and opera. He presents a new production here alongside Insula orchestra and accentus under the direction of Laurence Equilbey.

This concert is interpreted on period instruments.
