Patricia Petibon, the baroque sorceress

In Greek mythology, two sorceresses left a deep imprint: Medea and Circe. Both rejected by the man they loved, they took cruel revenge, the first by committing infanticide, the other by transforming her rival into a monster.
Several Baroque composers depicted their powerful passions in arias sung by the wonderful Patricia Petibon alongside Héloïse Gaillard and her ensemble, Amarillis.
