Before the age of 30, his exceptional playing already makes him one of the most noteworthy pianists on the international scene today. With the Sinfonieorchester of Frankfurt, Jan Lisiecki will deploy his palette of colours in Edvard Grieg’s virtuoso Piano Concerto. A work born of long walks in nature, to which Antonín Dvořák, his contemporary, also refers to in his orchestral overture. Meanwhile, Modest Mussorgsky celebrates art and friendship in his famous Pictures at an Exhibition, which will delight children and parents alike.
