À propos
Giovanni Antonini injects his fiery energy into Haydn and Mozart. Between Baroque brilliance and flashes of Classical splendor, it’s an evening where every note sparkles with inventiveness.
Electric, volcanic… Giovanni Antonini is one of the leading figures in Baroque music and a remarkable Haydn specialist who has taken on the challenge of performing all 105 symphonies by the Viennese composer! Alongside Bruno Philippe, a recent cello sensation celebrated at the Victoires de la Musique, the Italian maestro tackles two major Haydn works – the Cello Concerto and Symphony No. 60 – complemented by two youthful pieces from Mozart, Il re pastore and Thamos, King of Egypt. The interplay between these two performers, both sensitive and charismatic, promises an evening full of surprises.
