À propos

Between passion and lyricism, Beethoven and Bruch intertwine in an intense musical fresco. A mythical symphony, a mesmerizing concerto, a double orchestra—this is the promise of a vibrant and unprecedented evening.

The season opens with something exceptional. The launch of the orchestra academy, Insula camerata, led by Laurence Equilbey and aimed at the younger generation, provides an opportunity to present Beethoven’s iconic Symphony No. 5 in a completely renewed way—with a double orchestra.

A founding father of Romanticism, Beethoven enters into dialogue with one of its last heirs, Max Bruch. Violist Miguel da Silva and clarinetist Pierre Génisson bring to light a deeply moving piece: the Concerto for Clarinet and Viola.

This concert is performed on period instruments.

This concert is produced by the Hauts-de-Seine Department and Insula Orchestra.
