Invited once again by Insula orchestra, conductor Leonardo García Alarcón unveils multiple treasures of 17th and 18th century Roman polyphony. Alongside accentus and Cappella Mediterranea, he features Allegri’s Miserere alongside rarer, although none the lesser pieces by Alessandro Scarlatti and other Italian composers of the baroque era.
