Joseph Haydn
Symphonie n° 44 « Trauersinfonie »
Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach
Concerto pour violoncelle et orchestre
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Symphonie n° 25

Who did Mozart admire in his time? Joseph Haydn, of course, whose passionate 44th Symphony beautifully represents the Sturm und Drang movement. This influence can also be perceived in Mozart’s Symphony n°25, the minor key creating a tragic atmosphere. He was also an admirer of Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach, whose Concerto for cello and orchestra is a testimony of the transition between the baroque and classical eras. Who else than the Concentus Musicus Wien, a yearly guest at that the Seine Musicale, and conductor Christophe Coin could offer a more exceptional version of these pieces?

26 June 2022 - 16h00
Auditorium Patrick Devedjian, La Seine Musicale (de 10 € à 45 €)
