Johann Sebastian Bach
Triple Concerto for flute, violin et harpsichord

Born in 1685, Johann Sebastian was born into a century-long tradition of harpsichord makers, organists and other musicians. Though he was to become the most famous, we should not forget his father-in-law, Johann Michael. At the head of her Brecon Baroque Ensemble, Rachel Podger explores the religious vocal music written by members of the Bach family, with an incursion into the work of Buxtehude, their spiritual father. An extended family affair.
